PRIVACY POLICY

Brew Bandits, operated by BREW BANDITS, ABN 63378452925, collects only the personal information we need to quote, serve and stay in touch with you.

We handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. What we collect

• Event Bookings form: name, email, mobile, company; event type, date, times, venue and guest numbers; budget, menu and billing preferences; site logistics; how you heard about us; notes.

• Book Us form: name, email, phone, business and site details, staff numbers, preferred days and times, site logistics.

• Expressions of interest and giveaways: business name, your name, email, phone, suburb, team size, product and pricing preferences.

• Orders and payments: order details. Card payments are processed by Square. We never see or store your full card number.

• Website and social media: messages you send us, plus basic usage data through Wix and Google Analytics / Meta Pixel.

We don't collect sensitive information such as health details. If you tell us about an allergy so we can serve you safely, we use it only for that order or event.

2. Why we use it

• To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, and plan and deliver bookings

• To assess whether a site is suitable for regular service

• To take payments and keep business records

• To run giveaways and contact winners

• To send news, offers and menu updates, but only if you've opted in (see section 4)

• To understand what's working on our website and social media

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only for that purpose:

• Google (Forms, Sheets, Workspace email). Our forms are currently administered through the Google Workspace account of Need That Now, our web and digital partner

• Wix (website hosting)

• Square (payments and point of sale)

• Meta (Instagram and Facebook messages)

• Our accountant, plus anyone we're legally required to share with

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States.

4. Marketing

We'll only send marketing emails or SMS if you've ticked "Yes" to joining our mailing list. Every message includes an unsubscribe option, or you can email us to be removed. This follows the Spam Act 2003.

5. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies to work properly and to help us understand visits. We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

6. Storage and security

Your information is stored in password-protected cloud accounts with access limited to the Brew Bandits owners. We keep booking records for 7 years for tax purposes and delete enquiry data we no longer need.

7. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email admin@brewbandits.com.au and we'll reply within 30 days.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled a privacy matter, contact us first. If it isn't resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the business grows, for example when we launch online ordering or an app. The current version is always on this page.
